Child menu preview provides you with a broader spectrum and understanding of the main objects in your Soffront CRM in details.The Child menu Preview allows you to view the details of the child objects such as notes, activities, contacts, etc, attached to an object without having to open them in a new window.
- You can preview existing sub objects and their related child objects in the same screen
- You can even add and link Child objects without having to navigate back and forth from one screen to the other.
Log into your Soffront CRM .
- From the home page select any main object such as all accounts or all contacts.
- On the right-hand side under Show you will find sub objects like activities and notes. The numbers beside the sub objects indicates the number of Child Objects associated with it.
- When you click on the record count number, information from the child object is loaded and displayed on a side panel.
- It displays 5 recent records at a time.
- If you have more the 5 records click on more at the bottom of the screen to display more records.
- If you want to see all the child objects in details click on all at the top of the panel to display detailed record information in a separate window.
- Coming back to the side panel you have more actions like Add and link
Click on to close the side panelAdd new record to the child object
- You can add new record to the child object by clicking on add.
- If you chosen to add a new record to activity so when I click on add it takes me to the Calendar page where I can add a new activity.
- If you Choose to add a new record to notes. A new record page will show up for notes. Where you can add and save a new note.
Link recordsClicking on the link option will open the Find and Link window, where you will be able to link records together.
- Click on to display all the records
- You can select multiple records by clicking Ctrl and making selection.
- To select all click on the checkbox.
- Then click on to link the records.
Child object preview allows you to see an Object, and their child objects all in the same page providing you a broader spectrum and understanding of the main object in details.
