Selecting Import/Export on the Tools menu displays a sub menu of Import/export related options, including Export to a text file and Power Export. These options will be discussed in detail within the following pages of this document.

Power Export
Selecting Power Export on the Import/Export menu displays the Power Export screen, illustrated below. Power Export allows you to export bulk data from the existing database to a text file or an Excel file. After the data is exported you can use this data with any other application to suit your needs. Follow the steps below to work with the Power Export screen.

- Select the file type you would like to generate from the export process from the Database Management System dropdown list
- Select the separator for the fields of the database from the Field Separator This field is only displayed if Text File is selected as the file type.
- Select a text delimiter from the Text Delimiter This field is only displayed if Text File is selected as the file type
- Select a destination table where you want to export your files to from the Destination Table
- Select the query whose records you would like to export, from the Select Query
- Click OK to export the records. The Export Fields screen within the Power Export process appears, as shown below, where you select the fields to export. Follow the steps below to work with the Export Fields

- Select the database tables you would like to export from the power export window. You can make multiple selections by pressing Ctrl key and selecting the tables.
- Click export to export the selected database table.
- Click to exit window without any changes.
